The Mind and Hypnosis

Your mind is a powerful tool and it is capable of doing amazing things

What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a trance-like mental state in which people experience increased attention, concentration, and suggestibility. While hypnosis is often described as a sleep-like state, it is better expressed as a state of focused attention, heightened suggestibility, and vivid fantasies. People in a hypnotic state often seem sleepy and zoned out, but in reality, they are in a state of hyper-awareness. More information is available click on this link: HYPNOSIS

How Does it Work?

The key to hypnosis is accessing your subconscious mind and “rewriting” your automatic scripts. This causes your thoughts to travel down new, positive paths, rather than the same destructive paths that keep you stuck. In neuroscience, this is called neuroplasticity and simply means that the brain has the ability to change.

Proof it Exists

We have all had times where we have moved from place to place and have no recollection of how we got there. This is in simple terms, your mind producing a form of self-hypnosis. Another form is one where you do something such as tying shoelaces, at first you had to learn how to do it and then over time your mind creates an automatic function to do this for you. These are all low level forms of self-hypnosis where the brain programmes itself to perform a function or overcome a situation.

What Happens in a Session?

The session you will first undergo what is termed an "induction" this relaxs you and slowly takes you into a "trance-like" state. Once the induction is completed the session will then start. During the session you will be totally aware of everything around you and all that is going on during the session. When the session is ending you will be brought out of the trance and feel calm and relaxed. To help understand and to feel confident about using our sessions we have included a link here so you can try a session for free. Click on the link to go to the free session page: FREE SESSIONS

Are There Risks?

For the majority of people there is little to no risk in hypnosis however, if you have a history of mental illness,Autism or use a session whilst drunk or having used drugs this can cause serious issues. Use of the VR files should not be undertaken by those people who suffer from Epilepsy as the flashing of the spiral may induce fitting.

Use of Sessions

For people what have never been hypnotised before we recommend that you use one of our free induction sessions to see if you are comfortable with it before spending money on a session that you may not like to use. These sessions are designed to simply take you into a trance and let you feel what is is like to hypnotised and then bring you out of the trance state.

When using the sessions it is important that you are in a place you feel safe and secure and that you are not over tired. When using "adult" sessions your purchase and download of the file is implied consent for whatever the file instructs you to do. Each file has a detailed description so you can make an informed choice as to whether or not to use the file.
